Treatment & Management of Ocular Diseases

The eye is an incredibly complex organ that is susceptible to an overwhelming variety of complications. Many common ocular complications like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and inflammation/infection can cause permanent vision loss if left untreated. Common systemic diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, thyroid dysfunctions, arthritis, and countless others even including the medications used to treat them, can manifest in ways that can cause loss or distortions of vision. It is also recommended in many cases to have an evaluation performed by an Optometrist to detect early signs and complications of these diseases!
